Our children are expected to wear school uniform when they join us in nursery until they leave in year six. Our school uniform consists of:
1. Royal blue v-neck jumper or cardigan with the school crest.
2. Grey trousers or skirt.
3. White shirt.
4. Blue and grey striped tie (elasticated or clip on)
5. Black school shoes (not trainers)
Parents may order our uniform via the school shop on Parent Pay and they can then arrange to collect the uniform from the school office.
Our children take part in weekly P.E lessons on a Wednesday with Mr Borges (our gymnastics teacher) and also in lessons taught by teachers. Each child has a P.E bag which is stored on their peg and their kit can be stored neatly inside.
The school kit includes:
- White t-shirt or polo shirt.
- Black shorts.
- Black PE pumps or trainers.
Children in Reception will begin getting changed and wearing the P.E kit after October half term. This will give them time to settle and then develop their independence skills as they dress and undress by themselves.
Every Friday, we look forward to our celebration 'Gold Award' assembly! The Gold Award is presented to one child in each class and recognises someone who has really stood out that week and 'Let their light shine!'
The children are awarded the jumpers during the virtual assembly and can keep their jumpers and wear them with pride in school for a week! They can then return their jumper the following week and another child is chosen.
