School meals

School dinners prepared by our cook, Mrs Byron offer your child plenty of choice and are thoroughly enjoyed by children and staff alike. There is a choice of a different cooked meal every day, also a pasta dish or a jacket potato with a choice of toppings. The children can then help themselves at a salad bar. School also provide either water or milk for all pupils.

Some children prefer to bring a packed lunch which should be in line with our Healthy Eating Policy. This can be found in our policy section.

Attached below is a link to the Manchester City Council school meals page which has a lot of information about nutrition and school meal provision.

For parents and carers interested in applying for free school meals, please call into the office to get an application form.  We only need you to complete your name, date of birth, National Insurance number and child's name.  We would encourage you to apply for free school meals, even if your child already qualifies for a Universal Infant Free School Meal (FS2, Year 1 and Year 2), as pupil premium funding would also be received by school, or if you would qualify and your child has a packed lunch.
