Parent Survey - Potential school opening for Nursery, Reception, Y1 & Y6

Parent Survey- Potential school opening for Nursery, Reception, Y1 & Y6

This is a final reminder to complete the survey before 10am today. We have had some queries from parents who are finding it hard to make a decision as they are unsure of the measures we are taking. This is understandable, your answer to the survey isn't a final decision.

Once we have an idea of how many children would like to return we can continue to work through the government guidance and we will be in a position to share our risk assessments with you.

Thank you for your support and understanding at this unprecedented time.

Parent Survey- Potential school opening for Nursery, Reception, Y1 & Y6

Further to Boris Johnson's announcement that schools may be able to reopen next month to some year groups, we are currently assessing whether we will be able to open our schools with effect from 8th June for children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6.

In order to help us with our planning, we would be grateful if you could let us know whether you would like your child to return to school at this time by completing the questionnaire below.

    https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/J9YXJH9

Please complete by 10am on Friday 15th May at the latest.

    Free school meals update

    FREE SCHOOLS MEALS UPDATE

We understand that parents/carers may be experiencing some difficulty in accessing the link that was posted yesterday.

Manchester City Council have now sent us a different route which may work.

To make an application, families need to submit a request via the Council’s Welfare Provision Scheme

    https://secure.manchester.gov.uk/info/200008/benefits_and_support/6302/apply_for_a_cash_grant_if_you_are_in_financial_crisis

The contribution towards a lunchtime meal is £2 per day (£10 per week) for each school age child or young person in the household.
We will be able to pay this money within a few days by the following methods
    ● A bank transfer into a nominated bank account
    ● A secure text message that can be used to access cash from a range of Paypoint outlets in the city
    ● A voucher that can be printed and can then be exchanged for cash from a range of Paypoint outlets in the city.

You can only receive the contribution via the link. Please do not respond to any emails notifying you of FSM entitlement, this is a scam. We would never share your email address without your permission.

Please can you let us know how you get on with your application.

In the meantime, please remember we will be providing free packed lunches at school each day for you until Friday.

    Good luck!

How to use your phone as an Internet Hot-spot

    Dear Parents,
Attached is a leaflet explaining how to create an internet hot-spot from your phone- there are instructions for both Android and Apple devices. Creating a hot-spot will allow you to access an internet connection on a device if you have no WiFi access- this will however use up the data allowance on your phone so be aware of this. We would recommend monitoring your data allowance through your phone provider.
    Many thanks
    Miss Dwan
