Free walks for children with autism and their families

    From Dave at Thrive Manchester:
We have received funding from Young Manchester to lead some walks across Manchester for autistic children and their families. The walks are free and everyone on it gets a free drink and a gift as well. Families can come on as many walks as they want, but there is a limit on numbers on each walk due to COVID restrictions. Contact me on my mobile or send us an email so that we can get them registered.

    Government Update

    Dear Parents/ Carers,

We are looking forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Monday 8th March.

The Government have also announced that to support the wider opening of schools, lateral flow device (LFD) testing is now available for households, childcare and support bubbles of primary and secondary-age pupils and staff. LFD tests can be carried out at home and kits can be collected from local testing sites in Manchester. More information can be found online using the following link: //www.gov.uk/guidance/rapid-lateral-flow-testing-for-households-and-bubbles-of-school-pupils-and-staff

Most collection points are open from 1.30pm to 7pm and those using the service do not need to make an appointment, but they should not visit a collection point outside opening hours, as it may be used to test people with coronavirus symptoms outside these times. You can collect LFD testing kits from local testing sites in Manchester, at the following locations:

Armitage / Moseley Road - Lower Carpark, Fallowfield
Ancoats Central Retail Park, Ancoats & Beswick
    Belle Vue Speedway, Longsight
    Brownley Road, Woodhouse Park
Birchall Way (Former Landrover garage), Hulme
    Denmark Road Building, Rusholme
    Platt Fields Park, Fallowfield
