Breakfast Club

Be Healthy

Breakfast Club

All children are welcome to join us at our Breakfast Club, which is held each morning in the school hall from 8.00am until 8.50am.  Children may turn up on the morning required or book for a full week. Children pay £1 per session and this includes a variety of hot and cold drinks, cereals and toast etc. Parents are most welcome to join us for breakfast too. After breakfast children can read comics and magazines and play a variety of games.

Children who attend the breakfast club should remain in the school hall until the first bell rings at 8.50am.

Wake Up Shake Up

Each morning before registration we have a physical exercise session, dance around to lively music and manage quite a lot of giggling too!
After that we are all ready for another day's hard work and fun at school.
Remember exercise really wakes up your brain!

Healthy Eating

We educate and encourage all our pupils to eat healthily, through Science lessons and Super Learning activities. The School Council was responsible for setting up a Healthy Tuck Shop. This is run by the Year 6 children every morning, selling fruit smoothies and other fruit snacks.

School Meals

School dinners prepared by our cook, Mrs Byron offer your child plenty of choice and are thoroughly enjoyed by children and staff alike. There is a choice of a different cooked meal every day, also a pasta dish or a jacket potato with a choice of toppings. The children can then help themselves at a salad bar.

Some children prefer to bring a packed lunch which should be in line with our Healthy Eating Policy. No chocolate bars or fizzy drinks please!
