We were lucky enough to have Art Week organised for us by Miss Dwan last week. We completed many activities throughout the week, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by all children. We did some printing, art workshops and studied the artist Andy Warhol.
Volcano and Earthquake workshop
On Tuesday 28th we were very lucky to have a drama workshop in school for Year 5 and 6 to start off our Volcano and Earthquake topic.
We pretended to be explorers and went on expeditions around different countries that have experienced volcano eruptions and earthquakes. Luckily, we came away from the workshop with many new facts which we can now use in our work on our new topic.
What a fantastic afternoon we have just had! We had the opportunity to see many different animals and learn lots of facts about them! Watch this space....children will be writing about what they have learnt.
Blists Hill School Trip
During the final week of half term, Year 6 visited the recreated Victorian town - Blists Hill. The whole day was a thoroughly enjoyable, educational experience. See for yourself!!
